CASA
Chapter members supports CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) by donating
money or gift cards at the holiday time to this organization which will be used to
purchase needed items for children in foster care.
Covenant House
Chapter members donate hygiene items (toothpaste, soap, shampoo, etc.) for Covenant
House which is a non-profit homeless shelter that provides sanctuary and support for
homeless and trafficked youth in need.
Hillsides Home
Chapter members decorate a Family Cottage during the holidays at Hillsides, a provider
with five core programs that offer services for at-risk children and their families. The
facility is located at 940 Avenue 64, Pasadena, CA 91105 (323) 254-2274
Jared Bags
Chapter members contribute materials to fill small gift bags with items including
crayons, markers, paper, small puzzles, small toys, etc. Bags are donated to Ronald McDonald House
for critically ill children and their siblings to play with while they are confined to
their hospital rooms.
School on Wheels
Chapter members donate backpacks and school supplies to support School on Wheels,
an organization that provides free tutoring & mentoring to children from kindergarten
through twelfth grade living in shelters, motels, vehicles, group foster homes, and on the
streets in Southern California. Members can also donate their services as a tutor.
